At this stage of life, one has a lot of firsts. Before the first holiday and his first trip to a museum, we took him to his first classical concert nearby at Sant’Appiano, to listen to Purcell and the Brandenburg concertos. Because of the heat, and the little man’s sometimes rather vocal appreciation of the music, we sat at the door and had the music and a wonderful view too:
