See the look of fierce concentration with which little Jacob addresses the examination of his mobile, a gift from his great aunt Christa (thank you!): He has suddenly become much more interested in it over the last couple of days, since realising that he can make it produce pleasing chiming sounds by waving his arms and legs appropriately. I think his colour vision is improving too, as he appears much taken by bright colours suddenly.
