Ed and I took Jacob for a seaside holiday in Castiglioncello, and it was there that we first managed to capture one of his special smiles on camera. He is lying in the pram which once belonged to my dear friend Anna, whose parents so kindly welcomed us to their house by the sea.
Jacob loved the sand, but he was not so sure about the waves, which were a little too unpredictable for his tastes.
