Jacob was two months old on the day his parents took him to the American Consulate General in Florence, for our visa interviews. He behaved exceptionally well, and charmed the secretary into shifting us to the top of the queue. Without even waking up.

If jacob was asleep how were the embassy able to ask him their standard queries about whether he's planning to overthrow the government during his stay?
