Here is the birthday boy completely absorbed by his "digging for gems" project. It's a block of plaster of Paris with 10 different types of rock hidden in it, to be found with a set of tiny tiny tools (complemented by a couple of our paintbrushes). It kept him completely absorbed for a couple of hours, with eager assistance from his brother and sister, and he has still not found all the stones. More dusty fun to come!
