Here is our new family project: a little vegetable and flower plot in the back yard of Chabad house, run by a Rabbi originally from Edgeware, London. So far, we have planted tomatoes, sweet peppers, origano, basil, pumpkins, chamomile, alyssum, cosmos, collard greens, and mustard greens. They have been getting lots of toddler love already, so it remains to be seen how much of it will make it through the summer. Mimi and her mother Julie, seen here, will be sharing our plot and looking after it while we are away this summer.
