RUFUS has been walking since the beginning of November, and revels in it. He loves toothbrushes, and collects them with great dedication. Sometimes it seems he needs one in each hand to feel complete.
LEILA is very precise and careful in her movements, and is very fond of climbing up the slide in the playroom, bottom in the air, and then sliding back down again on her tummy.
[this morning] Leila has been eating a purple crayon, and now her teeth look like those of Good Queen Bess.
JACOB's friend the dragon is still with us, but more intermittently these days, it seems. He is very interested in superheroes, knights, monsters, red indians (yes, we do constantly correct him to Native Americans, but someone it doesn't stick), and anyone capable of feats of strength and great valour.
