new skills and derring do

Here's a smile for his dada, before J shows off some of his new tricks.

Crusin'. He grabs hold of the edge of our coffee table, and then scoots round all four sides of it.

But, if no coffee tables are in range, he is not averse to crawling. He has perfected a one knee only technique to protect his soft padded knees, but if the carpet is soft enough, as it is in the Family Resource Center, he can do conventional crawling too.

Thirsty work, cruising and crawling. When it comes to refreshments, he is his father's son.

(and if the paranoid new parent police is reading this, no, he is not actually drinking tea) The paranoid new parent police strike randomly. Yesterday we were upbraided for giving Jacob a carrot. "Have you discussed carrots with your pediatrician?" (Yes, actually) "Carrots are a CHOKING HAZARD" (Oh really? Do have one)

Teehee. Life is a choking hazard. Better than chemical-filled baby food, I say. I think he looks like you...
